§ 26-34. Right to Turn Off Service.

  • The Borough shall have and reserves the right at any time to shut off the water in the main lines without notice, in case of accidents, breakdowns or other unavoidable causes or for the purpose of making necessary connections, alterations, repairs or other work with the system. In case the water is to be shut off, the Borough Manager will, if possible, cause notice to be given all consumers in the district to be shut off at least one hour previous to the shutting off, unless the accident is such that time cannot be taken to so notify the consumers, then the water will be shut off without notice.
